Footprints at Red Jelly

Last Thursday we had such a lovely morning at the local Red Jelly creative play morning where we met lots of lovely mums and their babies and made footprints to help us with our Fairtrade "Babies first steps" campaign. There was lots of paint and lots of mess and the babies loved it! For every painting we took to exhibit, we also gave the mums a print on a card to take away with them. Such a lovely keepsake.

Red Jelly is a great morning for mums and we are really grateful that we were allowed to visit and join in with the messy fun!

Brighton and Hove Junior School Fairtrade Event.

We had a great time at Brighton and Hove Junior School on Friday night, taking part in their Fairtrade event. The event was well supported and we met lots of lovely children and parents who were all committed to ‘Take a Step for Fairtrade.
We displayed all of our lovely ‘Baby steps to Fairtrade’ artwork which looked really colourful and it was great to see all of the little footprint pledges. We received a great deal of interest in our products and spoke to dozens of people about why we have chosen to use Fairtrade ingredients and why it is so important to us. The raw Shea Butter we displayed on our stand was rather a hit, with mums rubbing it into their hands for immediate nourishment. Claudine and I particularly enjoyed the Fairtrade chocolate samples too!
